First UMC is an growing evangelical UM church. We are worshipping 250 and will be adding a third worship service off campus in October. We have an early contemporary and late traditional service. We are a healthy church spiritually, relationally, and financially. We also have a full time youth director, and a half time family minister on staff. We have an active Children's ministry that does a great job reaching children. In the past 9 years we have had 7 kids who grew up in this church go into some kind of ministry.
We are looking for a person who will take our Children’s Ministry to the next level. We want someone with a high level of energy and excitement who is self-motivated and has a track record of growth in children's minitry.
Desired experience, skills and giftedness:
•A passion to reach and lead children in their personal walk with God
•A desire to partner with parents
•A track record of recruiting, training and retaining a volunteer staff of adults
•Gifts of leadership, organization, teaching
•A bachelor’s degree
•A minimum of 3 years experience

This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
