Job Description:
Lead a compelling, Christ-centered student ministry that emphasizes discipleship, outreach and evangelism. Responsible for spiritual leadership and oversight of all aspects of student ministries for grades 6 through 12, including Sunday morning teaching, weekly multi-component programs and Bible studies, confirmation, mission opportunities and periodic special events/outreach. Grow, nurture, and lead volunteer ministry team, building relationships and developing leaders. Envisioned is a broad regional ministry, drawing students from many local schools, which include several of the top high schools in the U.S.
LCPC is committed to a Student Ministry in which young people are nurtured by the entire church, with key adults serving as Christian role models and mentors. We seek a ministry leader to further develop and communicate an exciting vision for Student Ministries, identify and nurture student and adult leaders to further the vision, create an environment where students grow in faith while building relationships, and challenge students and adult leaders to live out God’s greater purpose for their lives. Key areas of responsibility include worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministy and evangelism.
