PASTOR OF WORSHIPWe are seeking someone to join our team. This person will become a member of the pastoral staff of FLBC. The position will have the primary responsibility of building and leading a quality music and worship program from its early stage. The Worship Pastor will have the opportunity to develop the kind of program that encourages worship among church members as well as long term growth that impacts the community. We want to establish a music style that is a blend of both traditional and contemporary music. We are looking for someone who is Christ-centered and willing to grow with us.
RESPONSIBILITES
1. Oversee the entire music ministry of the church.
2. Coordinate music for each service with sermon topics and themes of the seasons
3. Organize, maintain, and update music library
4. Schedule and direct weekly music
5. Schedule and direct weekly music rehearsals
6. Recruit new members for the music ministry
7. Supervise pianist and other instrument players
8. Maintain musical instruments and arrange for tuning
9. Plan and conduct Christmas and Easter musicals and other special programs
10. Submit yearly budget for all music and worship programs
11. Fulfill other ministry needs of the pastoral staff as needed
12. Fulfill senior pastor duties when senior pastor is traveling
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must have Degree in Music from a Christian College or Seminary
2. Must have proven ability to lead a worship service.
3. Must have proven ability to direct a choir.
4. Must demonstrate the ability to think creatively.
5. Must have strong desire to be a part of a ministry team
6. Must desire to use different styles and forms of worship
7. Must be able to work with all age groups
8. Must be familiarity with Traditional and Contemporary styles of music

1. Pastor of Worship reports directly to the Senior Pastor.
2. Candidate and family must become members of FLBC.

This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
