Job Description:
First United Methodist Church in Cape Coral, Florida is seeking a committed Christian to serve as Director of Children's Ministry. This full-time position is responsible for the oversight of Children's Ministry, which includes children from birth through 5th grade.
This position would include developing programs, recruiting and training volunteers, and promotion of the ministry though the church and community. Also included, but not limited to: facilitating the church's Sunday School programs, which includes the nursery, researching, selecting and developing age appropriate curriculum, supervision of an annual Vacation Bible School program including staffing and promotion to the church and community; provide weekly evening programs for children that coincide with the church's programs.
Seeking candidates with at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Salary will be negotiable and in the $30,000-$40,000 range.
