Job description: Support the Assistant Pastor - Youth Ministries in planning, implementation, and evaluating youth ministries events geared toward 7th through 12th grade students.
Plan, prepare, lead, and follow-up with:
Sunday morning Bible Study
Discipleship & Accountability groups
Wednesday night worship service
Envision and champion new ministry approaches.
Create and maintain relationships with individual youth through personal contacts and events they are involved in.
Qualifications:
Seminary graduate
Committed to the call of Youth Ministry
Background in Southern Baptist life and practice
Significant leadership in youth ministry (paid or volunteer)
Church profile:
Committed to the ministry of youth
Large Southern Baptist church with approximately 325 youth and youth ministers
Dually aligned SBC and CBF
