Children’s/Youth Pastor
We are seeking a part-time Child/Youth Pastor for the Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Bondurant, IA (a suburb of Des Moines).
We are looking for an innovative and energetic leader to recreate and lead activities for young people in our church and community. We have several long-standing programs for all ages that need new ideas and leadership to interest youth and ultimately attract families and young people in our growing community. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, strong theological knowledge and preferred formal education.
As the church grows, this position may move to a part-time age specific position or a full-time position.

Child/Youth Pastor Job List (Draft)
Bondurant Christian Church
• Develop, determine & coordinate youth Christian education curriculum
• Lead and coordinate Children’s Church
• Develop new activities/programs that may replace or add to Sr. High youth program
• Plan, coordinate & lead Youth Sunday services
• Plan, coordinate & lead Vacation Bible School
• Research, develop and determine evening youth program curriculum
• Plan, coordinate & provide children’s moment for Sunday services in cooperation with Pastor and weekly message.
• Organize and recruit volunteers for youth activities
