JOB TITLE: Technical Director DEPARTMENT: Artist Community
REPORTS TO: Artist Community Pastor SUPERVISES: Volunteers/AV Mgr.
SHIFT: Varies STATUS: Exempt/Full Time GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Oversight, development and maintenance of all technical systems related to worship and media ministries; development of ministry teams and volunteers related to technical ministries; scheduling and support of technical resources for CRCC campus.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION (knowledge, skills, abilities):
Must have strong technical knowledge of equipment such as audio, (video, lighting and stage-related power). Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee long and short term projects.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES (includes but is not limited to):
1. Oversee all aspects of Audio/Lighting design and collaborate with graphic artist (set designer) to integrate systems with sets.
2. Assist with set building, painting, and construction in main auditorium.
3. Keep technical areas including booth, video editing room, and backstage clean, safe and operational.
4. Develop business contacts for equipment purchase and acquisition
5. Train volunteers to operate technical systems.
6. Shepard volunteers outside the work environment to establish personal relationships.
7. Equipment support and scheduling for campus technical needs.
8. Other duties as assigned.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS (includes physical demands):
Requires mobility and ability to stand or sit at musical instrument for the duration of worship services and rehearsals. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be computer literate.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years in related field.

His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
