Job Description:
Central Presbyterian Church is seeking a Director of Worship Arts. The person filling this position will oversee, with the pastors, the planning and execution of all worship services at Central, including weekly services and other all-church worship events. The DWA will be responsible for incorporating music, drama, dance, and visual arts in the traditional and contemporary styles of corporate worship of this church. The position focuses on visioning and developing strategies for using worship arts, equipping and shepherding our musicians and worship arts leaders, and overseeing the production aspects of each service. A minimum five years of leadership experience in a church worship ministry is required, along with a BA or BS degree. A major in music, drama, or fine arts is desirable, a masters is highly desirable. More information is available at http://www.centralpc.org.
