Job Description:
Church of the Highlands is one of the fastest growing and most exciting churches in the country. We have four campuses in Alabama: one in Tuscaloosa, one in Auburn, and two in Birmingham. We are seeking to fill a Video Editor position on our Creative Team at our Main Campus in Birmingham. We are looking for a team player who is creative, but able to meet deadlines.

You are
o Experienced with at least 3 years in video editing
o Knowledgeable in current video technology and techniques
o Proficient in Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photo Shop, and Adobe Illustrator
o Able to manage time and schedules well and to meet deadlines consistently
o Self-motivated, but able to work well with a team
o A conceptual thinker who is able to see ideas through to completion in a rapidly changing environment
o Results-oriented, intelligent, well-rounded, adaptable to frequent change, and able to work under pressure
o Able to commit to the core values of Church of the Highlands and meet the membership requirements
You will be
o Responsible for creating a variety of the videos related to multiple worship experiences
o Expected to handle a heavy workload that many vary in nature from big-picture, design-intense projects to weekly or daily tasks that are more production oriented
o Adaptable to working with many different types of people for whom you will be producing a variety of video projects

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
