Job Description:
Otterbein Church is looking for a proven leader to join our staff as the Associate Pastor of Connection and Spiritual Development. We are looking for a committed follower of Christ who is passionate about helping adult followers of Christ connect with one another and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. He must be a “leader of leaders,” an excellent communicator in one-on-one, small and large group settings, and be a team player. He must have competencies and a willingness to work alongside other pastoral staff in conducting weddings and funerals as well as provide pastoral care to the congregation. Responsibilities will also include the development of and oversight of a ministry to 18-30-year-olds in church and community and/or coordinate and oversee a ministry to older adults in our church and community. Otterbein Church is a progressive purpose-driven church located in south central PA and has an average worship attendance (3 services) of 800. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
