Job Description:
Primary responsibility for leading an effective ministry with high school and middle school students (285 students currently). Additionally, this staff person could share in preaching and leading worship. Grace is a vibrant church in a growing community on the edge of Toledo. It has a strong emphasis on discipling all ages and mission outreach; there is a great desire to see students involved in spiritual growth and service. Ministry to youth will be enhanced with the completion of a new Family Life Center this fall.
Duties: Direct the ministy to students; recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leaders; teach and disciple; work in close coordination with other staff.
Qualifications: Experience and training in student ministry; a degree in youth ministry is desirable but not required. Evidence of a clear call to ministry and commitment to being a disciple of Christ. Gifts in communication, teaching, leadership and interpersonal relationships.
