Peninsula Bible Fellowship is a dynamic and caring evangelical church of 600+ adults seeking an associate pastor to oversee ministry to the junior and senior high school students of our community. We need a teachable person with a passion for God and youth who can transition into leadership of an established ministry (complete with a team of youth and adult volunteers, intern(s), mission trips, outreach events, discipleship groups, and facilities) as our current leader's role begins to expand into other areas of church ministry.
The associate pastor will be part of the church leadership team, and will integrate the youth ministry into all aspects of church life. The ideal candidate will love youth--inviting them into relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them grow as disciples, encouraging service and worship, and fostering a desire for worldwide missions. Other desired skills and experience include: teaching; teamwork; leading others in ministry; U.S. or Canada college or bible school degree; mature spiritual foundation; and experience in youth ministry. Expansion of the associate pastor's ministry to other areas of church life will be encouraged, dependent upon emerging youth leadership and pastoral gifts. Salary $36k-$45k with health and retirement benefits.

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
