Job Description:
We are looking for a man who can lead a 70+ members Sanctuary Choir, Seniors Choir, Graded Choir, 15-20 member Orchestra,and Handbell Choir. Our music is a conservative blend of traditional,southern gospel,and praise and worship music that is Christ centered. We have an abundance of gifted people who love God and desire to serve Him. The man we are looking for God to send must be born-again, Spirit of God lead and humble. He must resist the notion of entertainment and believe that only Christ should be magnified in worship services. Our music is lively yet respectful, joyful but still appropriate, upbeat yet not worldly. We do a lot of Mike Speck, Lari Gross arrangements with some Brooklyn Tab arrangement. We do not do any form of rock, rap, pop,or alternative style music. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
