Video Editor/Graphic Designer

Overview

Responsible for editing, sound production and other technical duties related to post production of television ministry program and other weekly editing jobs needed at The First Cathedral. Responsible for performing duties to assist the Media Director.


• Responds to requests for video tape playback and recording sessions and/or audio-visual , photographic and graphic art projects.
• Performs related work as required
• Coordinates the integration of video production and graphic design technology to produce final show for broadcast
• Editing of weekly broadcast
• Editing of weekly announcement materials
• Produces, edits and formats program and insures assigned production systems meet television station and FCC standards
• Part of Sunday worship Media team serving in what capacity that might be needed
• Schedules recording sessions
• Insures proper environment and technique conditions for video production and sound sessions; prepares or secures needed materials and resources for the use of final production. Reviews, edits and catalogues tapes and other materials; maintains inventory of software and hardware; keeps equipment in good condition


Qualifications:


3-5 years of experience in non linear editing
Experience with animation development
Experience with video production
Bachelor Degree in related field
Mature Christian who is consistently tithing
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Possess good leadership skills
Flexibility to work nights and weekends
Other related duties as determined by Media Director
