Ellisville/Living Word United Methodist Church in west St. Louis County, MO, is seeking a Director of Celebration Arts Ministries to continue to grow a thriving music program as we move to our new location in April, 2008. This position will offer the opportunity to lead and direct children, youth, and adult choirs/ensembles in both traditional and contemporary styles. We are a loving, supportive congregation who value excellence in our music ministries. Our staff is strong and vibrant with a clear vision for the future of our church. The successful applicant will have a love of Jesus Christ, a passion to support our mission, "To bring Jesus Christ to all people, strengthen their faith and prepare them for ministry", and a team player approach to ministry. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
