Job Description:
Ellisville/Living Word United Methodist Church in west St. Louis County, MO, is seeking a Director of Celebration Arts Ministries to continue to grow a thriving music program as we move to our new location in April, 2008. This position will offer the opportunity to lead and direct children, youth, and adult choirs/ensembles in both traditional and contemporary styles. We are a loving, supportive congregation who value excellence in our music ministries. Our staff is strong and vibrant with a clear vision for the future of our church. The successful applicant will have a love of Jesus Christ, a passion to support our mission, "To bring Jesus Christ to all people, strengthen their faith and prepare them for ministry", and a team player approach to ministry. A Masters Degree and experience in worship leadership preferred for consideration.
