Job Description:
Director of Youth Ministries – Christian Fellowship Church (CFC), located among several northwest Columbus, Ohio suburbs, is looking for a qualified individual to lead its K-12 youth ministry program. CFC is a non-denominational, evangelical church with an average weekly attendance of approximately 250. Our Church Body is blessed with a thriving population of youths and we are searching for a director that is highly energetic, self-motivated and committed to developing and implementing a formal youth ministry program. Profession of faith in Jesus Christ and a working knowledge of the Bible are prerequisites for consideration. A passion for youth and a calling to youth ministry are essential for this position. The Director will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, training and mentoring youth Sunday School teachers and youth small group leaders. The Director of Youth Ministries will report directly to the Senior Pastor.
Qualifications: High school education and a preferred minimum of 4 year college degree with emphasis in child development, education or recreation. Verifiable experience as youth leader, recreation leader, youth counselor, Sunday School instructor or youth small group leader. Strong organization and communication skills. Creative, enthusiastic and flexible. Musical ability preferred but not required.
