Job Description:
First United Methodist Church of Ocala, Florida has created a new full-time position for an Associate Director of Music. Working with the Director of Music, the Associate Director of Music would assist in overseeing our entire music program, and would be responsible for working with the pastor in creating a weekly contemporary worship experience as well as leading contemporary worship with oversight responsibilities for vocalists and band members. A strong background in worship, relevant undergraduate/graduate study, and a solid relationship in Christ with strong roots in United Methodist theology are musts. Skills desired include vocal as well as keyboard training/performance, worship arts and worship space creation skills, as well as strong administrative skills.
