Minister of Music Combination Position
1. Plan and lead traditional, contemporary, and blended worship services in conjunction with the Pastor. Plan and lead major seasonal and/or outreach musicals/dramas.
2. Enlist and train participants and leaders for the church Music Ministry. Work with the Children and Families Minister in promoting the graded choir program.
3. Develop and oversee vocal and instrumental worship teams, ensembles, and soloists, as well as drama groups.
4. Provide staff leadership for the Media Committee and oversee technical and media support for worship services (sound, lighting, video projection, etc.).
5. Coordinate music for weddings, funerals, special projects, and other church-related activities upon request.
6. Maintain music library, materials, supplies, musical instruments, and other equipment.
7. Actively participate as a member of the IBC staff team in the overall church program. This includes, but is not limited to participating in staff planning meetings and in outreach and ministry visitation.
8. Propose an annual ministry budget for Music and other areas of responsibility and administer the approved budget.
9. Perform other duties as assigned in consultation with the Pastor.
10. Other areas of ministry will be determined in consultation with the candidate based on their interests and abilities.

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
