TITLE: Executive Director

LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY
SALARY: $100K - $120K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Development at the parent organization, The Executive Director will be responsible for creating and leading all of the organization’s development activities. S/he will develop relationships with new donors and prospects, and work to upgrade existing relationships. The Executive Director will be an experienced fundraising professional, capable of creating and sustaining the engagement of individual major gift donors, while seeking other new and varied sources of financial support. S/he will also manage the organization’s website content, and provide regular reports to the Director of Development and by request to other senior staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of related experience, with a proven track record in fundraising. Experience working within a diverse environment is necessary, as are excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate must be computer literate and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge. Knowledge of the religious sector a plus. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
