The First Baptist Church of Westfield is a vibrant congregation seeking candidates with a strong worship/church music background. The church is known for its excellent music program and blended worship music. The successful Assistant Director of Music will join our Music Ministry to strengthen and expand our worship experience. We are seeking a person who can assume leadership of three children/youth choirs and lead contemporary music in the church. Keyboard experience is required. Additional instrumental skills, e.g. guitar “a plus”. Awesome opportunity for a person with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, who loves youth, loves music, and seeks to glorify God by sharing their talents and being a visible presence in the life of the church. Note: The First Baptist Church of Westfield is also seeking to fill the position of Youth Leader. Candidates who feel they might also fill these requirements may apply for that position as well. Youth Leader salary up to $25,000 in addition to Assistant Director of Music compensation.
