Cedarbrook is a non-denominational church of 750 in the northern suburbs of Washington, DC, currently looking for an exceptional, up-front, full-time worship pastor to lead both vocally and instrumentally. We recently moved into our new building on 15 acres in the heart of one of Maryland’s fastest-growing suburbs. We believe that in today’s culture, both churched and unchurched are searching for community and spirituality and providing vibrant, creative worship will help us to address this hunger. Candidates should be authentic and confident, with a dynamic personality, several years experience, proficient in at least one instrument (guitar or keyboards), with a proven ability to connect and interact with the congregation during worship. Must possess the ability to “read the room” and be aware of crowd dynamics in order to direct meaningful, vibrant, and creative worship experiences. Must be comfortable with a variety of musical styles. Able to recruit, direct, shepherd and motivate our team of vocalists, musicians, drama and technical volunteers. This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
