Job Description:
OPPORTUNITY & CHALLENGE From a small Bible study, Reno Christian Fellowship has grown to be a large church and has planted three similar fellowships in neighboring communities. RCF is now seeking a Senior Pastor to equip the saints by teaching and preaching God’s Word, to encourage the congregation and to oversee and shepherd the pastoral staff.
This person should have the following basic qualifications: * Ordination and Masters of Divinity or comparable education desired * Ten years plus of ministry including teaching and leadership responsibilities; someone who is sensitive to the needs of a large congregation; senior pastor experience desired * Passion for building people through the practical and relevant teaching of God’s Word * Be able to attract, develop and encourage followers of Christ.
Salary to be commensurate with education, experience and responsibilities, plus other benefits
