Job Description:
Executive Director, Crosswinds University of South Florida Campus Ministry, Tampa; part of the Florida United Methodist Church Conference. Responsibilities include: constructing and leading an all encompassing, Christ-centered ministry that will reach out to college aged students, allowing them to develop a relationship with Jesus through passionate worship, biblical teaching, genuine fellowship, community outreach and personal discipleship. The position also requires management of the campus building facilities, development of partnerships with churches and community; financial health through preparation of annual budget, overseeing local board development and fund-raising.
The University of South Florida is the second largest university in the southeast and among the top 20 largest in the nation with a total enrollment of 35, 081. Founded in 1956, USF is located in the thriving Tampa Bay area. USF is a highly diverse campus with students coming from every state in the nation and more than 100 countries; with one quarter of the student population is African American, Hispanic, Asian American or Native American.
Candidate must possess knowledge of and commitment to the United Methodist Church, relevant experience, BA/BS although Mdiv is preferred, and evidence of previous creative and visionary leadership.
