Job Description:
All Angels' Church seeks a dynamic Gospel Piano player (who can also play Hammond organ, ideally) to head up the worship team for our 5pm Gospel & Street service. The service is geared towards the homeless and those in recovery in New York City. The person we're looking for to fill this position:
1. Has a living faith in Jesus Christ
2. Is an excellent, vibrant player who lives and breathes
gospel music
3. READS MUSIC and can play well from charts. This is an
absolute requirement.
4. Has experience working with bands and volunteer musicians
5. Will bring new music, teach it to the team, and expand the
repetoire of our 5pm service.
6. Has a passion for working with the poor through music
7. Can lead, or would like to learn to lead, a gospel choir
8. Is a team player.
This is a paid, part-time position (Sunday afternoons/evenings) at an established church in New York City. It's a great opportunity for a young or up and coming musician to develop a ministry.

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
