Job Description:
PASTOR OF WORSHIP AND ARTS
Grace Community Church, located 25 miles south of Seattle, Washington, is seeking a Pastor of Worship and Arts.
We are looking for a gifted artist with a fervent love for God and people, who longs to see the church fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission through the ministry of creative arts. This person must possess strong leadership skills for overseeing a broad range of programming and ministry teams, as well as strong pastoral skills for creating a community of care and spiritual growth among team members within the Worship and Arts Department.
We presently have four Sunday services averaging close to 2,000 in worship attendance. In addition to overall department oversight, this pastor leads the two morning services featuring a blended style of worship. The demands of this position requires a minimum of five years professional worship leadership experience, three of which must be in a church of 1000+ in worship attendance, where the person has demonstrated proficiencies in worship program development and management.
