A growing non-denominational Bible Church located in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Children’s Ministry Director/Pastor to lead an expanding children’s ministry, infant through fifth grade. We are a large, non-charismatic church with an attendance of approximately 2,500. Our children’s ministry presently serves over 500 children through 200 volunteers. We recently relocated to a new 20-acre campus which features 40,000 square feet for nursery, pre-school and elementary age ministry. 1. More than 3 years of full-time ministry experience of leading a growing children’s ministry of at least 250 children, including experience recruiting, training, and leading at least 75 adult volunteers.
2. A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Christian Education or Elementary Education.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with senior leadership, including Elders and Pastors, to evaluate and define the vision and direction of our children’s ministry and then develop the curriculum and programs to implement that vision.
2. Oversee all aspects of the children’s ministry, including Sunday learning centers, children’s worship, AWANA, Vacation Bible School, children’s day camps and other special events for children and their families.
3. Recruit, develop, train, and nurture the volunteer leaders and workers.
4. Organize and administer the infrastructure needed to ensure the effectiveness of the children’s ministry.
5. Supervise the full-time and part-time children’s ministry staff.
