Job Description:
Hope Church is a 3 year old, non-denominational, church in the beautiful foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Knoxville, TN. We are seeking a Worship Pastor, who will begin part-time, with the hope of expanding the position to full-time as the Lord provides the resources. We are blessed to meet in a local high school with a huge auditorium & ample classroom space. We are seeking a person with the following qualifications: 1) a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that includes daily Bible reading & prayer, 2)a skilled musician on the guitar or piano, 3) proven ability to recruit, lead, & coordinate a praise team & praise band, 4) a heart that listens for the leading of the Holy Spirit, 5) a proven team player, & 6) strong communication skills.
Our Church's Purpose is "Power through P.R.A.I.S.E." We use this acronym to express the vision that God has given us. Out of our love for God and Neighbor, we promise to: 1) have a daily Prayer time with God 2) build caring Relationships with those we meet, 3) Adore God through our worship together, 4) Instruct our children, youth, & adults in God's word, the Bible, that they may grow spiritually and teach others, 5) Serve others to meet their needs, & 6) Evangelize the world with the message of Jesus Christ. Our church is multi-cultural and casual in nature, because we believe God cares about the way we look on the inside, not what's on the outside.
