Job Description:
Bel Air United Methodist Church (BAUMC), a Northeastern suburban Baltimore congregation, is seeking a full time Director of Worship and Arts who can coordinate and lead our worship ministry. BAUMC is a diverse and growing congregation of 2300 members with five Sunday worship services. BAUMC is known throughout the community as a well-established congregation committed to making disciples for Jesus Christ.
The Director must passionately believe that worship at its core is the glorification of God, and can create engaging environments that speak in the languages of our three traditional services and our two contemporary services. If you are empowered by leading a creative team of musicians, pastors, and artists who facilitate life-changing worship, then we want to talk with you.
The overall responsibility of this position is to oversee and incorporate music, drama, video, visual arts and other forms of artistic expression in the traditional and contemporary services at BAUMC. This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
