Concord United Methodist Church has an opening for Director of Family (Children's) Ministries. This is a 40-hour per-week position with competitive salary and benefits. The director will collaborate with the pastors to cast and then execute a vision for family ministries that supports the overarching vision of the church. Primary duties include procuring/creating and overseeing curriculum for Sunday morning classes, managing Sunday morning check-in procedures, recruiting, training, and deploying volunteers, communicating with families via traditional media and social media, planning and executing special events such as VBS, Back-to-School Block Party, Trunk-R-Treat, etc., overseeing TREKK and Kid's Hope ministries (resources and mentoring for elementary-aged children) and others.
