The Youth Pastor (YP) at CBC must have a calling and a passion to see young people come to salvation in Christ Jesus and grow in their faith. He should have a personal devotional time consisting of Bible study and prayer, as this is crucial for God's leading in the ministry. He should be desirous of spending time with his targeted age group(s) both inside and outside the church, and it is essential for him to get to know the parents of our young people and communicate effectively with them. He needs to take direction from the Lead Pastor, including regular planning sessions to unify goals and facilitate a healthy working relationship. He will be responsible for proper management of youth ministry funds in accordance with budget requirements. The YP is expected to take a genuine interest in the congregation as a whole. A 3 bedroom house on church property is included.
