Job Information:
The First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, Oregon is seeking a full-time senior pastor to lead a growing, egalitarian, Bible-based congregation of 600 members and attendees, including 150 children and youth.
The candidate must have a Masters of Divinity and a minimum of 6 years experience in a pastoral role. The Senior Pastor's main role will be to:
Equip and strengthen the church to boldly evangelize
Preach
Shepherd the congregation
Moderate session meetings
Head of staff and administration (to lead, equip, and oversee).
Jacksonville Presbyterian was founded in 1857 and joined the EPC in 2010. The church owns two facilities: the original 1881 building is still utilized by the church and community; and the state-of-the-art, debt-free campus facility comprising three buildings completed in 2006.
