Apply for This Job Pastor for Worship New Hanover United Methodist C Gilbertsville, PA Posted: October 18, 2017     Job Information: The Pastor for Worship joins a worship culture with a vital praise and worship band, choir and orchestra. This is a key role in the church organization. The candidate should be a highly skilled musician and leader, able to care for and disciple volunteers and staff, organize and oversee the worship ministry, and lead the church in authentic worship that puts the spotlight on Jesus and not on any one individual. The desired candidate should be: an excellent musician with the skill to engage the congregation in worship; experienced and comfortable with a variety of worship styles; a leader with a heart to serve others in worship through song; a humble team player willing to help colleagues meet the church's mission; an excellent communicator with staff, volunteers, and congregation with strong interpersonal/relational skills; a person able to give and receive constructive feedback; an individual with the vision to take the worship ministry to the next level.
