Children's Ministry Director The Children's Ministry Director (Birth through 5th grade) is to build a team of volunteers that proclaims Christ to children in terms they can understand, preparing them to be young disciples who follow Christ, and provide a place of authentic Christian worship and fellowship.

Committed to Christ and to Pflugerville Community Church Committed to PCC's doctrinal statement, purpose statement, and values Have a God-given vision and passion for leading ministry to children Can build and lead a team of volunteers Capable of planning, organizing, and administrating on-going ministry to children Able to teach and disciple young believers Capable of leading the church in outreach/evangelism to children Undergraduate degree in education preferred Experience in leading church ministry for children required
Duties... Articulate and communicate a vision for a comprehensive children's ministry with passion and conviction Recruit and lead the leaders... a leadership team that plans and carries out the goals and objectives of the ministry Coordinate the recruiting & training of children's ministry teachers & workers Oversee curriculum purchasing and distribution for the teams Oversee the hiring & evaluation of the paid nursery workers Plan & direct special events for children & families Submit a budget to the church council each year for the children's ministry Keep the pastor informed regarding children's ministry
Accountability... The Children's Pastor is accountable to the elder board and receives direct oversight from the senior pastor.
