Beloit First Christian Church Beloit, KS Posted: January 23, 2017
Job Information:
Beloit First Christian Church is seeking the person of God's choosing as our full-time Director of Youth and Children's Ministries. We believe this individual will have a passion for being a disciple of Jesus Christ, for making disciples of lost sinners for Him, and for growing disciples together in fully expressing love for God and all people. We are looking for someone who really enjoys connecting with children and youth of all ages, and who is committed to leading a sustainable, small group model of ministry (see Mark DeVries' book "Sustainable Youth Ministry")—someone who can identify, train, and invest in both adult and student leaders to be used by the Holy Spirit as agents of transformation among students. A well-organized person with healthy communication skills, who sees ministry as a team effort, will find a joyful fit with BFCC. Previous experience in a similar position is helpful, but not required. Accredited education in Biblical studies, Christian theology, and/or church ministry is helpful, but not required. Our church is an ordinary group of forgiven sinners who have been freed by Jesus Christ to be children of God and saints. Because of our Heavenly Father's extravagant grace in Christ, you will find us to be flawed but loving, and truly excited about God's Kingdom plans. We will diligently and prayerfully seek to discern with you if the Lord is bringing us together for something amazing.
