Apply for This Job Executive Pastor The Worship Place Georgetown, TX Posted: January 17, 2017     Job Information: Description: The Worship Place, an interdenominational church located in the rapidly expanding Sun City neighborhood of Georgetown, Texas is seeking a full-time Executive Pastor to join its staff. This vibrant Church with membership exceeding 1,300 and average attendance of 850 at two campuses is witnessing growth that has created the need for a Executive Pastor to lead the Church in its operations and administrative functions. Scope: This position will utilize the incumbent's spiritual gifts in organizational, administrative, personnel, financial, facilities and strategic planning under the direction of the Senior Pastor. The Executive Pastor will focus on the active management of all activities and staff in and around the campuses of the Church. Requirements: The preferred candidate for this job will hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, ideally in business, and graduation from an accredited Christian seminary. A foundation in Church Administration or a Master's of Business Administration is ideal. A minimum of ten (10) years as an ordained Pastor with at least five years as a Church Administrator at a large (500+ attendees) Protestant congregation, and proven successful leadership and management experience in Christian organizations is needed for this position. It is essential that the person chosen has strong and demonstrated expertise in communications, people, accounting, facilities management, and finance skills and is competent in Microsoft Office programs.
