The Worship Leader will be responsible for developing and launching a new non-traditional service. They will also creatively help people praise and connect with God through vibrant, authentic worship. The Worship Leader will need to communicate, direct, and lead in ways that inspire other musicians and the congregation. This position is to be filled immediately. Responsibilities: * Platform worship leader for Sunday morning non-traditional worship service * Work alongside existing worship leadership * Uses prayer and dialog to transition between songs * Growing responsibilities from development to launch and implementation * Schedule and conduct weekly rehearsals * Provide leadership for the musicians * Recruit new musicians * Attend quarterly all-staff meetings and weekly staff meetings if available Work Hours and Schedule: * Planning and implementation – 10 hours/week Sunday morning non-traditional worship service Weekly rehearsals (individual and band) Compensation: * Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience    Position Information: Position Title: Worship Leader Time: Part Time Category: Worship Leader, Music Minister, Worship Pastor Salary: Less than 20,000 Denomination: United Methodist Worship Style: Contemporary Church Size: 500 - 750   Contact Information: Organization Name: Central United Methodist Church of Waterford Address1: 3882 Highland Rd.
