The next Singles Minister of First Baptist Dallas will be innately passionate about the ministry to Singles, and possess the salient leadership characteristics the church seeks in this role. They will be a person of faith, who demonstrates an unyielding personal and professional commitment to their spiritual journey and to the ministry of FBC Dallas. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a setting committed to reaching the unreached, experience within an urban community, and creativity through team collaboration. This individual will be one who exudes consistency, reliability, humility, responsibility, and stability in both public and private surroundings. They will possess a character of maturity and integrity, with a scope of skills necessary to successfully serve a significant ministry of the church. The successful prospect for this position will also be highly intuitive and self-confident, with the ability to address the needs of the Singles Ministry of which they have oversight. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a strong background in ministry, although a master's degree related to the position is highly preferred. Success in this role will be determined by the following: -A strategically structured Singles program effectively integrated into the life of the church. -Numerical increase in the Singles Ministry. -New opportunities implemented for the Singles community, including various Bible studies, Wednesday night singles events, and recurring retreats. -Successfully recruited, trained, and placed volunteer leadership within the ministry. -Involvement of the Singles Ministry in worship service. -Create community within the Day One Contemporary Worship service. -Create intentional relationships with members of the ministry.
