Apply for This Job Director of Arts and Music Ministry First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Springs Harbor Springs, MI Posted: June 29, 2016     Job Information: First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Springs (FPCHS) is seeking a Director of Arts & Music Ministry for a vibrant and dedicated church family in beautiful Northern Michigan. Our congregation has a rich music tradition in an area with a culturally unique musical and arts heritage. The purpose of arts and music at FPCHS is to glorify God. The Director of Arts and Music Ministry works with the Senior Pastor to craft worship services through music, visual and performing arts. An important hallmark of FPCHS is an arts and music program for all ability levels that ministers to the community through music, visual and performing arts. The Director of Arts and Music Ministry directs a dedicated 25+ adult choir and handbell choir through conducting regular rehearsals and participating in worship services. Brass choir, woodwind choir and other regular instrumental groups may also be formed. The director plays piano or organ while leading the choir and other musical groups in rehearsals and worship. The Director will work with FPCHS staff, support all church ministries, communicate relevant information about the FPCHS Arts and Music Ministry to the wider community, and build on the tradition of hosting community musical and arts events.
