Apply for This Job Director of Children and Family Ministry St Barnabas United Methodist Church Arlington, TX Posted: December 01, 2015     Job Information: St. Barnabas United Methodist Church, a growing and dynamic congregation in southwest Arlington, Texas, has an immediate full-time opening for a Director of Children and Family Ministry. Features of this ministry include a graded Sunday School, Wednesday Night Bible Studies in tandem with Children's Choirs, Route 56 for Tweens, 6th Grade Confirmation Classes, Parents' Night Out, a large Vacation Bible School, recreational summer and seasonal day camps, Mission Possible Kids, annual Children's Sabbath, and a Children's Christmas Eve Pageant and Worship Service. The Director works with a part-time assistant and has supervisory responsibilities for our Early Education Center for pre-school children(enrollment 105). Requirements include a dynamic and growing Christian faith, a love for children and their families, a bachelor's degree or more, skill in developing leaders, and a commitment to working as a team with other staff persons and congregational leaders. Compensation is in the low 40s, with three weeks vacation, sick leave and time and funding for continuing education. Other benefits are not included.
