Job Information:
Ministry Focus Lead, love & serve people Lead Worship (Contemporary/Modern style (i.e., NorthPoint Music, Brewster, Tomlin, Hillsong, Stanfill, Jobe, etc.) The River's style of worship is primarily up-tempo, high energy * Prayerfully design & develop worship plans for worship gatherings & events (i.e., Christmas, Easter) * Provide consistent leadership to the worship ministry within The River * Lead, rehearse & schedule band, worship team participants including audio/visual technicians * Recruit, develop & integrate new band & worship team members * Participate in & oversee the layout & set-up of environment for The River worship gatherings Oversight for Flood & The Tide Worship (The River Student Ministries gatherings) * Promote, encourage and develop worship within student ministries
Experience & Requirements Demonstrate musical excellence vocally and instrumentally (guitar or other lead instrument) Two (2) years of playing in a band/worship team in a church of 150+ preferred Willing to teach and model biblical truth as a disciple growing in his/her personal faith and relationship with Jesus Understand and embrace the essential relationship of music in worship Demonstrate unmistakable characteristics of a servant heart & initiative in ministry Demonstrate ability to lead adult volunteers and team members while functioning as a part of the larger church ministry Possess hands-on knowledge of sound equipment & worship software (i.e., Planning Center, etc.)

Supervision and Evaluation by Lead Pastor in conjunction with Elders
Compensation Package Beginning compensation: $15,400 - $24,00 annually (16 – 22 hours/week) Sick leave: 3 days/year Vacation pay available after 8 months on a graduated scale
