Apply for This Job Director of Youth Ministries Davis Memorial UMC North Richland Hills, TX Posted: August 04, 2015     Job Information: Davis Memorial UMC in North Richland Hills seeks a part-time Director of Youth Ministries to provide a safe and welcoming environment that encourages discipleship and a growing relationship with Christ among youth (grades 6 through 12). Position is approximately 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Developing relationships with youth and their families, both from the church and from the community; Developing and implementing programs consistent with the congregation's vision as a place to love, grow and serve; Recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers to assist with activities; Working with the Senior Pastor and other staff to ensure that proper safety and abuse prevention policies are followed. Qualifications: Evidence of faith in Christ and commitment to a lifelong process of growing in grace; Passion for helping young people grow in their relationship with Christ; Familiarity with United Methodist doctrine and polity. Bachelor's degree and prior experience in youth ministry preferred. Must consent to criminal background check. Submit resume to Rev.
