Apply for This Job Director, Children's Ministry First Presbyterian Church Waunakee, WI Posted: June 22, 2015     Job Information: DIRECTOR, CHILDRENS MINISTRY First Presbyterian Church Waunakee, WI is seeking a full-time Director of Children's Ministry. FPCW is a thriving, intergenerational church just outside of Madison, Wisconsin's capital city. The Director of Children's Ministry will oversee all church programs relating to children ages 0 – 6th grade (Sunday School, VBS, Nursery, Children's Church, etc). Children's Ministry is a high priority and hallmark of our church and is a vibrant and growing ministry area. Example – we are anticipating 250 children to participate in VBS this year! With strong support from the Senior Pastor, the Session (governing board of Elders), the church budget, volunteers, and spacious well-equipped classrooms, this established ministry is poised to deepen and strengthen in the coming years. While we have a history of strong leadership through Elders for Children's Ministry and a large cadre of volunteers, we are for the first time seeking a paid professional Director so that Children's Ministry can grow and thrive over the long haul. We are seeking a candidate who has a bachelor's degree, previous children's ministry experience and, most importantly, a deep passion for Jesus Christ, children and their families.
