Apply for This Job Pastor of Student Ministries Hampton Falls First Baptist Church Hampton Falls, NH Posted: June 09, 2015     Job Information: Hampton Falls First Baptist Church is searching for a Pastor of Student Ministries to lead a vibrant ministry to youth and their families. The responsibility is to oversee the ministry from birth through High School graduation. Presently there are approximately 20+ adults involved leading Sunday School from Nursery through High School ((About 75 students, ) and 20+ adults working with youth during the week. (About 65 students). The ideal candidate will have an M.Div. Degree with experience and training working with youth, curriculum, lesson planning and instructional strategy. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator of Scripture, has a love for Junior and Senior High Youth, has a pastor's heart and is able to do the work of administration. Ongoing Areas of Responsibility and Specific Tasks 1. Review the objectives and strategies 2. Evaluation of those objectives and strategies 3. Supervise and develop adult teachers/leaders/mentors working with student ministry 4. Shepherd youth and adults working under your care 5. Teaching and mentoring of Junior and Senior High students The Pastor of Student Ministries will assume pastoral oversight of the following areas: 1. Sunday Youth Education -Nursery through High School 2. Mid-Week Youth Groups -Young Bereans (1-4th Grade) -Plugged in (5th – 6th Grade) -Junior High -Senior High 4. Vacation Bible School 5. Scouts 6. The Pastor of Student Ministries will work with the pastoral staff/elders in fulfilling ministry responsibilities.
