Apply for This Job Director of Traditional Worship Cypress Creek Christian Church Spring, TX Posted: May 27, 2015     Job Information: Director of Traditional Worship Cypress Creek Christian Church is seeking a gifted person to lead the Traditional/Liturgical Worship experiences of the congregation. The Church is considering both full-time and part-time applicants. Compensation will be structured accordingly. The Director will be expected to embody the Mission and Core Values of the congregation through music and the arts, with specific emphasis on conducting the Chancel Choir of approximately 50 members and support volunteer musicians. Cypress Creek Christian Church is seeking a candidate who: Has a passion for the Gospel, Embraces the open theology of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Has an appreciation of the rich diversity of Christian music, Desires to empower others for ministry, Is creative in worship planning - team approach, Will use music as a tool of outreach into the community, And is committed to excellence in worship and music. Responsibilities include oversight or direction as applicable of children, youth and handbell music ministries. Experience in church music leadership role in a similar church setting, Bachelors Degree in Music, or Music Education, and/or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
