Apply for This Job Discipleship / Young Families Pastor The Lakeway Church Lakeway, TX Posted: May 11, 2015     Job Information: The Lakeway Church is a growing church just west of Austin, TX known for 46 years of Christ-centered ministry to people of all ages, a commitment to local, area, & global missions, & a unique background of shared ministry with people from all kinds of Christian traditions. In 2002 the average age in the Lakeway area was 62; In 2012 it was 34. We are working to reflect this change & are seeking a new Discipleship Pastor who is deeply committed to Christ & has a passion for seeing people grow strong in their faith. This pastor will have a primary ministry with young families implementing a culture that prioritizes, promotes, grows, & cares for families from birth – adulthood by ministering to & building relationships; overseeing discipleship ministries (small groups, Sunday School, mid-week classes; Men's, Women's, Children's, Youth, & Preschool ministry) & serving in leadership for our contemporary service. Must be highly relational, a strong leader, work collaboratively, & an excellent communicator. Master's degree from an accredited seminary & 3+ yrs. experience in Christian discipleship are required.
