Apply for This Job Director of Youth Ministry Watermark Community Church Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong, other Posted: March 25, 2015     Job Information: Job Qualifications Degree Holder; Minimum 2 years of front line volunteer or work experience in a church or non-profit organization setting Preferred— Overseas living in Experience and/or experience in working in cross -cultural settings. One year experience in Hong Kong would also be very helpful. Fluency in English Spoken and written Cantonese fluency desirable Competent computer skills — word processing, desktop publishing, excel. Be a committed Christian, living a God-Honouring life. Ability to work as part of a multicultural and multi-denominational team and be able to work well with all members of the staff and the volunteers. Personal qualities: a servant's heart, self- motivated, creative, attention to detail, flexible, enthusiastic, tactful, patient, and relational. High sense of confidentiality. Purpose of Position To transition into directing and developing the youth ministry of Watermark, helping to integrate it into the life of the church body as a whole. Job Responsibilities - Set and oversee vision of Watermark Youth Ministry, in line with budgetary constraints, and in line with church vision under the guidance of church leadership - Run Youth Staff Meetings, coordinating volunteer schedules, and staff progress - Plan and lead on-campus outreach events, camps, lessons - Train and recruit youth staff and volunteers as needed - Connect and disciple youths by leading Sunday classes and youth group, and meeting one-on-one; oversee the general operation and spiritual vitality of this agegroup - Partner with Young Life ministry, Resound and other organizations to coordinate city-wide youth events - Pursue other missional opportunities as appropriate - Provide other support for the church, and contribute to church-wide events Watermark Community Church Hong Kong Limited Watermark is an English-speaking international multicultural church seeking to impact Hong Kong and other parts of Asia in a powerful way through the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
