Apply for This Job Youth Pastor/Director Arbuckle Community Church Arbuckle, CA Posted: March 10, 2015     Job Information: Youth Pastor---Job Description Arbuckle Community Church The Situation: Arbuckle, CA (95912) is a small farming community in the northern Sacramento valley. There is no other youth pastor in our town, and the schools (comparatively speaking) are more “open” to the Gospel Arbuckle is a wonderful place to raise a family and enjoy a semi-rural lifestyle with solid American values. Arbuckle Community Church has many young families and numerous young people! The church is 135 years old, but has recently experienced renewal and revitalization in the Lord with numerous conversions, baptisms, and new attenders in our midst. The church is led by Interim Pastor Tom Salter. Mission: To love, evangelize and disciple students (grades 7-12) in the Arbuckle, CA area, for Christ. Specifics: To develop outreach efforts aimed at the student population of our town and county. Specifically, to develop both mid-week and Sunday ministry to teens aimed at conversion and discipling/ mentoring them to their full potential for Christ. This will involve Bible Studies, “Youth Group”, on-campus visits and activities. Since we believe in Unity in the Larger Body of Christ, the Youth Pastor for Arbuckle Community Church will respect other churches and seek to cooperate with their efforts to reach youth. The Youth Pastor for ACC will be supportive of “Young Life” efforts in Colusa County. We ask the Youth Pastor to also assist us in helping to develop and execute (as time allows) an effective outreach strategy for younger students (pre-teen). Qualifications: A degree in Youth Ministry is desired; experience leading an effective youth ministry is required. We expect the Youth Pastor to authentically live out the message of the Gospel so that teens can see the effectiveness of the Christian life. Compensation: This is considered a “Most-Time” Position. Starting pay of up to $28,000 based on education and experience, plus housing in the church’s parsonage (3 bedrooms/2 bath). Total compensation value is at least $40,000 for qualified candidates.
