Apply for This Job Director Pocono Mountain Bible Conference Clifton Township, PA Posted: October 15, 2014     Job Information: Pocono Mountain Bible Conference is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as director, starting on or about January 1, 2015. PMBC is a Christian conference center and summer camp located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Offering retreats for groups up to 100 guests throughout the spring, autumn, and winter, the centerpiece of PMBC's ministry is its six weeks of summer camp. Ministering to children and teens, these one-week, residential camping experiences include recreational activities, Bible studies, and tremendous fellowship. PMBC's campus includes dorms, family cottages, a recreation building, chapel, dining facilities, conference rooms, an outdoor pool, miniature golf course, basketball court, a picnic pavilion, and nature trails. Qualifications The director must demonstrate a/an: Spiritual maturity and a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior Physical capability of maintaining a rugged campus in the Pocono Mountains Working understanding of camp and retreat ministry Experience with camp and retreat ministry Bachelor's degree Ability to pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance General Responsibilities The director is responsible for all areas of PMBC's operation and ministry, including: Administration Maintenance Public Relations Summer Ministry and Staff Leadership Compensation This is a full time, salaried position that includes non-payroll benefits, such as retirement contributions, housing, housing utilities, and meals during events.
