Submit Resume and wage requirements Position Summary Faith Chapel Christian Center (FCCC) consists of the local church, The Bridge, and Mike Moore Ministries. This position oversees all marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagement, retention, and positive customer behavior. This individual is an expert in all things related to content optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics, and meaningful measurement. The position collaborates with other departments to help define both the brand and the story as interpreted by the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): CONTENT MANAGEMENT Curate and creation of content for internal and external marketing initiatives that builds awareness and stimulates cross-promotion. o Includes recommending strategies and leading cross-functional teams for implementation of strategies for current pastoral outlines and messages. o Work with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals. Oversees web, social media, and multimedia teams. Ensures all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print, and in-person. Develop content, utilizing a professional level of writing, editing, proofreading and video-storytelling and graphic skills, to best illustrate the organization's messages and stories by leveraging market data. Identify and practice best use of communication techniques for the web, social media, print and various broadcast platforms. Map out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short and long term, determining which methods work for the brand and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy is a must. Supervising writers, editors, content strategists, video shoots, website development, and social media; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style. SYSTEMS AND METRICS Development of a functional content calendar. o Establish work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content. Conduct ongoing usability test to gauge content effectiveness. Gather data and handle analytics (or supervise those who do) and make recommendations based on those results. Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics Develop standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies. Implement media monitoring tools that monitor brand names online for conversation engagement. SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Yes Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 3 years experience Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics. Crisis communications experience is a plus Professional video editing experience Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, etc.) Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics. Experience in viral marketing. Attention to detail is a must. Passion for new technology tools and usage of those tools within blogs and social media outreach. Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns. Experience creating a resource or library content organized indicating SEO, translations and version control. Continual learner of latest platforms, technology tools and marketing solutions through partnerships. Proven strong written/oral communication skills. (Skills in spelling/grammar/proofreading) o Exhibits engaging "conversational" writing skill with a professional posture. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational skills. Problem analysis and problem solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while working independently with decision making authority without constant supervision Highly self-motivated and self-directed Share in Faith Chapel Christian Center's vision and core values (God's Word, People, Teamwork, and Excellence). Previous experience with church marketing is helpful, but not required.
