The dedicated and faithful candidate, will be responsible for coordinating and cultivating the music life of the church, reflecting a broad variety of musical periods and styles. He/she will exhibit a passion for worship that grows from seeking God through His Word and a vibrant prayer life. He/she must demonstrate strong leadership skills and be a team player. Qualifications include proficiency in keyboard, piano (all 12 keys) and organ performance, as well as experience in reading music and/or has a very keen ear in hearing music. He/she will be able to develop the music ministry through proper preparation and planning during the week, which includes music selections presented for worship services and other events, as well as the nurturing and directing of all the choirs and musicians. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of the maintenance of the church's musical instruments and equipment. This is a paid position and is available immediately; compensation is commensurate with experience.
